Your card moves in seconds.
The slab never moves at all.
A tokenized card is a record of ownership you hold in your own wallet. The graded slab stays exactly where it is — sealed, insured, in the vault — while the title to it can change hands anywhere in the world without a courier, a customs form or a consignment window.
Tokenize a card from the vault
Tokenization is not live. The button on a card page is inactive until custody, redemption and the legal review are finished.
How it works
- 01
It is already vaulted
Every card we sell is graded, sealed and held in the insured vault. Tokenization changes nothing about where the object is or who insures it.
- 02
We mint the record
One token per certification number. One card, one token, never a fraction of a token and never two tokens for the same slab.
- 03
You hold the title
The token sits in your wallet. Connect it here and the card shows as yours, with the holder-only material unlocked.
- 04
Move it, or take it home
Transfer the token to anyone, anywhere, in seconds. Or redeem it: we ship the physical slab insured and the token is destroyed so the two can never exist apart.
What is actually inside a token
A token is not a picture. It is a small text file — the metadata — that points at everything else. Here is the whole of one.

The artwork
The image a wallet or a marketplace shows. Commissioned art or a rendered turn of the slab — a piece that belongs to Harmony, never a scan of the card face.
- 02
The name
What the token is called wherever it appears. It matches the listing, so a buyer can cross-check it in one step.
- 03
The certification
Grader, certification number, grade and set, written into the token itself. Anyone can verify the number at the grader without asking us for anything.
- 04
The real photographs
Full-resolution front and back of the actual slab, linked from the metadata. The artwork is the identity; these are the evidence.
- 05
Holder-only material
Content only the current owner can open: the intake video of that exact card being sealed, the vault record, and the private collector channel. It travels with the token, so it changes hands when the token does.
Moving a card, two ways
| Measure | Sell through the vault | Transfer the token |
|---|---|---|
| Harmony takes | 5% of the sale + $2.00 listing charge | nothing |
| Third-party cost | shipping + insurance each leg | one network fee |
| Time to settle | around 23 days | seconds |
| The card | ships, and is handled again | stays sealed in the vault |
| Reach | wherever we can ship insured | anywhere with a wallet |
Harmony charges no fee when a token changes hands. The network it runs on does charge one, and it is paid by whoever sends the transfer — it is small, but it is not zero, and it is not ours to waive.
What tokenizing does not do
- It does not change the grade. The grader decides that, and the certification number is the only proof of it.
- It does not make the card worth more. A token is a record of who owns the object, not a claim about what the object is worth.
- It does not move the physical card. Redemption does that, and redemption is the only way the slab leaves the vault.
- It does not remove the vault. If we are not holding the card, there is nothing for the token to point at.
When it is live, the terms that govern it will be published like everything else. Tokenization Terms.
